Between February 22 and 25, 2024, OUI Inc. participated in the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) Congress. This year the APAO was held in Bali, Indonesia. Along with 3 presentations, we also displayed our equipment at the exhibition area.

Our CEO, Dr. Shimizu delivered a presentation titled “Development of Artificial Intelligence to Determine Corneal Diameter Using Anterior Segment Images.” Additionally, Mr. Nishimura, an optometrist at our firm, presented a case study on Piggyback Contact Lenses (CL) case for oGVHD cases. Lastly, Mr. Nakayama, our COO, gave a presentation on the international and domestic initiatives of OUI Inc.

We also had a chance to meet many interested ophthalmologists who are now working on projects together with us. The overall response was tremendous! Along with new partners, we also got in touch with our existing partners, which consisted of beautiful moments.

OUI Inc. will continue to work with more countries and accelerate our mission to “Reduce blindness by half and protect people’s health through their eyes!”
